Human Rights Stamp
This stamp design is inspired by one of the Articles from the Declaration of Human Rights. Article 25 states that everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself/herself and their family. This right includes a right to enough food, specifically enough nutritious food. There are many who deal with food insecurity. These people don’t know where their next meal will come from or if they’ll be able to afford a meal for their family. This stamp’s simple challenge to “feed” is to bring awareness to the reality of food insecurity. The brighter colors within the design are to represent the colors of bright, healthy, food colors. The stamps alternate having an apple in the palm and having nothing to speak to the lack of food at times.
